Jürgen Czernohorszky

Since November 2020 Jürgen Czernohorszky serves as the Executive City Councillor for Climate, Environment, Democracy and Personnel in Vienna, Austria. The City of Vienna aims to be climate-neutral by 2040. Wanting to remain one of the most liveable cities, Vienna relies on measures against climate change and for climate adaptation. Prior to his current position Jürgen Czernohorszky had been the Executive City Councillor for Education, Integration, Youth and Personnel in Vienna. From 2001 to 2015 Jürgen Czernohorszky sat in the Vienna Provincial Parliament for the Social Democratic Party of Austria.
