Schwarzenegger’s Environmental Fair Draws Large Crowds

Successful Launch: 3,500 Visitors Attend Arnold Schwarzenegger’s AWS Solutions Expo at Vienna Hofburg

On Thursday, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s new AWS Solutions Expo made a successful debut, drawing 3,500 visitors to the Vienna Hofburg. Each year, Schwarzenegger hosts the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT at the Hofburg, bringing together decision-makers and experts from around the globe to discuss climate issues.

Monika Langthaler, Director of the Schwarzenegger Climate Initiative, emphasized the importance of engaging a broad audience in climate protection. “To inspire a wider audience, we’ve introduced a special feature: the AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT Solutions Expo, an environmental fair,” Langthaler explained. As part of the summit, the Hofburg opened its doors for the first time on Thursday, allowing anyone interested to attend the fair free of charge and without registration. This unique opportunity attracted 3,500 visitors.

Langthaler was visibly moved by the enthusiastic turnout: “I was truly impressed by the number of people who took advantage of this opportunity – not least because they wanted to see Arnold Schwarzenegger.” Schwarzenegger himself visited the Expo, engaging with fans and signing copies of his new book, “Be Useful.”

Innovative Solutions and Engaging Programs Highlight Expo

The AWS Solutions Expo featured 30 stands spread over 620 square meters, showcasing innovative environmental protection solutions and ideas from companies, start-ups, and NGOs. An exciting stage program included presentations, interviews, and panel discussions, offering insights into environmental challenges and solutions throughout the day.

“We wanted visitors to discover the wide range of environmental protection possibilities in a simple and accessible way and motivate them to participate actively. I believe we achieved that,” Langthaler reflected on the positive outcome of the new AUSTRIAN WORLD SUMMIT Solutions Expo. “Our toolbox is full of tools to make the vision of a sustainable future a reality. We just need to engage people, and we’ve done that this year with this fair. It demands a repeat performance.”
